Insomnia, social engagements, and keeping the peace conspired to make today not a great day for a group ride, but I was out before 7:30 AM on this solo ride.
Bessie Grover Park, while not completely restored, is in much better shape.
But at Dead Tree Road, the work is still continuing.
So for a while, anyway, most of my rides are gonna be about a mile-and-a-half longer than they used to be.
In other news, I tried a pair of bib-style biking shorts that I inherited, that I thought would be awful for using the men's room. I was happily surprised that I was wrong.
Also: only 40 days left.
