faking kindness

This guy might have an idea.

From the site:

the premise
People think the world is getting angrier.

Because of this, they interpret innocent acts as threatening, and respond in anger.

So the world is actually getting angrier.

the premise
If people start seeing others being nice to one another, they'll think the world is a happier place, and so will be nicer too.

You could perform random acts of kindness, but in this day and age, people are suspicious of kindness. But if your kindness is directed at someone who's expecting it...
It's the kid of thing that pleases me, and I hope it will work. There will be a post up sooner or later about how I want to be remembered (The Excellent Wife (TEW) asked a good question), and this kind of fits with that.

I might try it. Don't be surprised if you're asked to play along.

What do you think?
