It's a good idea. It's a piece of recycled plastic that can be snapped to the rails of your saddle and used as an emergency rear fender. When not in use, it folds and stows under the saddle.

There's a video on the site. They're available from a UK company, but the company ships worldwide. €7.99-8.99 ($10.80-12.15 when I did the conversion this morning).

Don't I carry enough stuff on my bike, though? (And isn't that a great name?)
