This might be reminiscent of some of the interactions between The Excellent Wife (TEW) and me... (and it was a click, not a creak).

I got it here.  Isn't Cloudfront the Amazon hosting service? So I don't know where it came from.

    Because that's what women do all day long. Shop. They don't work. They don't volunteer. They don't make a difference in this world. They just shop so they can look pretty.

    And y'all wonder why I don't identify with women even though I'm supposedly one of them.
